Central Baptist Hospital First Visit Ever

Posted by: "Pat Marcum"

Hi Everyone,

I got a wonderful email from CBH telling us that so far all the reviews about our visit has been awesome.  She actually said that if they could they would all be "waggin their tails" with happiness that we were there and will be coming back.

She also requested everyone who attend to please give her their snail mail, email and dog's name.  The Volunteer office has a lot but Cailtin who organized the 25th would like the information.

So could you please send me your snail mail and email and dog's name.  I will get them all together and send her one big email with the information she has requested.

Also, once we are on our visits the hospital will provide a "towel" for our dogs to do paws up or even to snuggle on the bed.

Thank you all,
Pat

Blackjack is a Therapy Dog

Former Woodford Humane Society resident Blackjack, a Shepherd mix, is now a certified therapy dog. Blackjack was returned to the humane society after his first adoption because the family developed allergies. Lexington resident Billy Fryer then adopted him. Fryer trained Blackjack, and now they visit hospitals and nursing homes to offer comfort to patients.
